Presently, keywords are crucial to get past the applicant tracking system (ATS) that many companies use, but for the sake of relevance, include your experience in the “Previous Experience Section.” Personal networking is a must for your career advancement, earlier networking was just part and parcel of the job itself, a newspaper was enough to land a job. The days of using a newspaper to find a job are gone, to stay on top one has to submit their resume to multiple job boards and check job listings online.
