Many of us think of creativity as an inborn trait whereas others are of the view that it can be surely learned and developed; if that is the case we need to provide a conducive environment at the workplace for a creative mindset to express itself. A slew of innovative measures in the workplace would go a long way in fostering the creative mindset.
To witness ideas arising from creative employees, to make them think out of the box, organizations need to reward creativity. Their suggestions have to be taken seriously; this would motivate employees to come up with more and more creative ways of improving the processes and outcomes at their workplaces. Team bonding activities, retreats every now and then are crucial in injecting creativity in the workplace, and brainstorming sessions conducted in such an environment produce fresh and innovative thinking for the organization to move ahead.
